Our Impact Thus Far

TBKidsCentral works to make childhood tuberculosis care more compassionate, engaging, and supportive. Through our partnerships, volunteers, and community programs, we provide hygiene kits, education materials, and emotional support items to children receiving treatment. Our work spans both local and international communities, and we continue to expand our reach by collaborating with hospitals, schools, and youth leaders who share the same mission of improving the well-being of children affected by TB.

International Impact

Impact in India

Partnership with the National Institute of Tuberculosis (New Dehli, India)
We assembled 100 hygiene kits for children receiving tuberculosis care at the National Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases in New Delhi. Each kit included soap, toothpaste, a toothbrush, an N95 mask, a reusable water bottle, a reusable plastic tiffin box, and a coloring book with pencils. Everything was packed in a durable reusable black tote bag to support both daily needs and emotional comfort during treatment.

Impact in Kenya

Partnership with House of Hope Child Support

Through our partnership with House of Hope Child Support and Dr. Brian McAbudoh, TBKidsCentral has supported tuberculosis education and outreach efforts in rural Kenya. We have funded travel to remote schools and covered the printing of educational TB awareness pamphlets, helping deliver critical health information and resources to over 1,500 children across rural schools in Kenya.

Local Impact

Here are some of the events we have been able to host locally to raise funds for TBKidsCentral and awareness for tuberculosis!

Local Awareness Event Partnership with SpeakStrongYAOC

TBKidsCentral partnered with SpeakStrong YAOC to host a fun, interactive awareness event focused on oral health and tuberculosis prevention. Children participated in hands-on activities and games that taught them the importance of brushing their teeth properly, caring for their lungs, and building healthy daily habits. Through learning and play, we helped make health education engaging, approachable, and memorable while empowering kids to take charge of their well-being.

Local Hot Chocolate Sale at Christ United

TBKidsCentral partnered with Christ United Church to host a cozy hot chocolate fundraiser, bringing the community together over warm drinks for a meaningful cause. Volunteers served cocoa while sharing our mission and raising donations to support children affected by tuberculosis. The event combined comfort, connection, and compassion to make a real impact
